Mario and Gianfranco Torelli have understood their hills, and have gladly accepted to share their difficult features, continuing day-by-day to take advantage of their valuable qualities whilst taking care not to damage the delicate natural equilibrium which has kept them intact over the years.
Meanwhile they have also taken the opportunity to re-introduce other elements of local tradition: the dry stone walls, the empirical but precise rain-water drainage system, the simple, distinctive rural building style, and the warmth of the family environment, all in a nineteenth-century stone and red-brick farmhouse.
