A little more than 10 Km outside the ancient town of Tortona, originally known as Julia Derthona and already an important centre for commerce during the Roman Empire, the Agricultural Cooperative known as "Valli Unite" has been operating for over twenty years, and is today managed by 12 partners.
The 3 founders of the cooperative all originate from these hills where vineyards have been cultivated for over 2000 years. Fausto Coppi, another son of these argillaceous fields, was known to excercise up and down our steep hills, and then proceed to win many historic cycling races all over the world.

It is within this historic context, rich of woods, fields and of course vineyards that Ottavio concentrates all his efforts in order to ensure that the quality of the grapes produced on the cooperative's vines will give birth to wines capable of creating a drinking experience which is satisfying, sober and cheerful.
The species of wine traditionally associated with the Piedmont area are: Barbera, Dolcetto,Croatina (black grape), Cortese (white grape). However in recent years another variety has at long last been revalued, Timorasso is a prime example of recovery and valorization of auochthon, or native wines.
With Valli Unite's dedication to all aspects of viniculture, and the dedication showed by other minor cultiuvars in the area allow the cooperative to present itself on the market with a selection of 10 different labels.
Another example of the Valli Unite's dedication to the co-operative ethos, with attention paid to all aspects of farming, is our restraunt, where thanks to the traditional Piemontese home cooking it is possible to enjoy a selection of fresh and seasoned meats, bread, flower, cheese, fruit and vegetables, all produced by us and of course all strictly organic
